The following North China Marines were sent to Sendai # 7 along with many Wake civilians. They all had been shipped to Japan from Kiangwan at Shanghai in August 1943. They were held at Tsumori 13 at Osaka and Tokyo 5D at Kawasaki until May of 1945 when they were transferred to Sendai 7. They arrived at Sendai 7 on or about 14 May 1945 and were rescued 15 Sep 1945. There were about 245 Americans and some 40 plus Australians in the camp at liberation. Sendai 7 was a copper mining camp in northern Honshu not far from Sendai 11.
